Biography:
Ernesto Contreras-Torres received a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Information Sciences in 2012 and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from UCLV in 2016. He has worked as a lecturer in Artificial Intelligence, contributing to the teaching of core concepts such as machine learning, intelligent systems, and software engineering principles. In parallel, he has professional experience as a software developer, working on the design and implementation of scalable software systems and applied computational solutions. He has authored approximately 15 publications in the fields of bioinformatics and computer science. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and a Full Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, 2026.
