Biography:
The presenting author’s work (PhD, postdoctoral and as an academician: more than 15 years) has been on polyketide azaphilone fungal pigments as natural food colorants.
The author has done his PhD and postdoctoral work on fungal pigments in the Technical University of Denmark. The author continued to work on polyketide azaphilone fungal pigments as an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology in VIVA College (Affiliated to University of Mumbai, India).
The work resulted in a book chapter, 3 review articles, 6 research articles and 3 patent applications.
