Biography:
Professor Javad Hamedi studied microbiology at the University of Tehran, Iran and graduated as PhD. in 1981. He joined to the school of biology, college of science, University of Tehran. He published more than 100 research articles in scientific journals. More than 10 new species of actinobacteria were isolated and characterized, under his supervision. He is founder of University of Tehran microorganisms collection and is a reviewer of various scientific journals.
