Biography:
Dr. Tania Limongi is Associate Professor at the Department of Drug Science and Technology (DSTF), University of Turin (Italy), where she leads the EvaT Laboratory. Her research focuses on nanobiotechnology, Extracellular Vesicles (EVs), and bioengineered nanocarriers for drug delivery and regenerative medicine. She has established multiple international collaborations and is co-inventor on several patents, including a recent patent covering a promising method for engineering EVs for drug delivery. Dr. Limongi serves as Guest Editor for Nanomaterials and reviews for international journals in nanomedicine and biotechnology. She has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and supervises graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. Her work bridges fundamental understanding of nanosystem–cell interactions with translational applications aimed at improving therapeutic efficacy and safety.
