Biography:
Assist. Prof. Dr. Magda Abdulkalek Ali Al-Rubaie is currently working as academic staff of the Science College of Wasit University, Iraq. Al-Rubaie received a doctoral degree in Medical Parasitology/Leishmaniasis from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Iran, and completed a Masters in Medical Microbiology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Al-Anbar, Iraq, then worked at the Faculty of Medicine at Wasit University, Iraq. Dr. Al-Rubaie has authored several publications (60 published papers) reflecting research interests in Biotechnology and Medical Parasitology, is a member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), and has received Golden and Silver invention awards in China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Poland (Katowice) and Germany (Nuremberg). Dr. Al-Rubaie has supervised PhD and MSc students and serves as a scientific referee.
Research Interest: Interested in Molecular parasitology, Nanobiotechnology, Biotechnology of Leishmaniasis, Medical Parasitology, Medical Microbiology, Diagnostic methods, Cutaneous Leishmaniasis etc.
