Title: Note on brain tumour growth model


The study is on the brain tumour growth (glioblastoma), which is a very aggressive brain tumour. In this model, actually two parameters the diffusion and growth of tumour cells, have been focused. Based on various medical studies conducted by  researchers, which demonstrate that the combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy can lead to negative   tumour growth. Adomian Decomposition Method has been implemented, even its convergence analysis has been included to obtain an approximate solution of governing equation of tumour growth. The result has been observed and it is consistent  with  the physical phenomenon of tumour growth, in which tumour concentration increases linearly after a patient is treated with    combination therapy as opposed to rapid exponential growth.


Dr. Twinkle R. Singh had completed Ph.D. at the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, on May 2008 and degree had been awarded in January 2009. She had guided 7 Ph.D. research Scholars and 2 have submitted under her guidance and 4 students are currently working under her supervision. She has guided 13 M.Sc Dissertation also. She has more than 60 research Papers in peered reviewed National and International Level Journals like web of science, Springer, Scopus. She had been awarded as First Ph. Degree holder at SVNIT, Surat. She had given her services as Associate warden, Warden and perfumingduty in  many committees at administrative level. Even she had completed research projects under Government of Gujarat.
